I have wanted to re due Keilei's name letters, well some of them, for a long time. I figured once I had this baby that I wouldn't get around to doing it for a very long time. So I decided to get it done before he came.
This is what they looked like before...

This is the after
(I had to move the magnet board cause Keilei could/did knock it down when she was in her crib)
Not a huge difference but some of the old paper bothered me.

These are a couple little t-shirts I made for the baby the other night. I had seen onsies like this at craft shows but I didn't want to pay that much. They where really easy to make and free. I had the shirts from who knows where and the material was scraps I had.

These are just closer ups of the letters in case you wanted to see

Loves To Dance

This is Keilei's dancing skills. She has always liked to dance and I personally think she is so cute when she does it.

This is her the same time last year dancing. Sorry it is sideways.

We had a really good time. It was nice to do something together as a family. Sean has been really busy lately so it was nice getting in some quality time. And it is so fun now that Keilei is old enough to enjoy things like this.

BAD haircut

I needed to get my hair done and I wanted to get it done before the baby came. So after MUCH thought I decided I wanted to stay long and just get a trim. Then for something different I wanted to add some chunky brown highlights into my already blond hair. It took me forever to decide this.
So this is me before

This is what I wanted color wise, pretty much exactly

Well the girl did a bad job. 1st the color didn't turn out like that at all, although it still looked decent, it wasn't what I wanted. But I didn't want to fry my hair and do it again and it didn't look bad so I just left it.
The cut"trim" was horrible. Granted I said I wanted a little more layers I left with a huge chunk of layers at about ear level on both sides of my head and then long hair hanging out underneath with no layers in between. For some reason she did an ok job on the back but the front was horrible. The layers where so rough too it looked like my hair had been damaged and broke off in big chunks.
It looked similar to the pic on the left with long hair coming out the bottom. The closest pic I could find, cause I forgot to take one, is the one on the right

This is after I got it fixed (by someone else) but it kind of shows how many layers the lady put so far up in my head.

The end result. I had to take off some length:( so it would even out the layers and even still it looks a little weird but way better then before. The second lady I went to that fixed it, who I will be going to from now on I knew her a long time ago but didn't know she was still doing hair, she said she did the best she could with it and told me that I will love the haircut I have now once it grows out an inch or so.

This story is why I hate going to new people to do my hair, why I have had the same person do it since high school. Granted in high school it was more experiments, since she is my age and one of my good friends:) But I love that I can just sit in her chair and say make me look pretty and totally trust what ever she wants to do color or cut. I have never left her chair disappointed in the least bit. Unfortunately for me(and totally understandably) being a mom comes before doing hair.
So now I know one more person not to go to, oh well live and learn. Although I really wish my hair was still long and had chunky highlights in it. Maybe next time.

Sean Is So Smart

We got a letter in the mail today from Logan Fire. They were the results for his written test he just took. He got a 96 on the test!!! Then they score your other qualifications and certifications and give you points for those. Sean doesn't have his degree so that lost him a bunch of points. But even still he ranked 2 out of 33!!!
How cool is that!?! I am so proud of him! Now the next step is the interview. Unfortunately we don't know when they will be doing those. So I guess you'll hear when we do:)

So in the last 2 weeks I have gotten 3 migraines!!! Which is more then usual and they always seem to happen when Sean is at work or some other bad timing.
Like today at church I was sitting there ready to get up in 5 min and give my lesson when all of a sudden my vision starts going crazy!
Just for those who don't know the drill...
1st - I gets blurred vision out of the blue when my head feels fine,(at this point I know I have no more then 30 mins till I am in a lot of pain)It lasts for 15-30mins then fades away
2nd - then the pain creeps in sometimes suddenly sometimes gradually until I am bawling and in bed.
3rd - Then anywhere from 30 min to an hour after the vision starts my hand and face go numb for about 15 mins, which always scares the crap out of me.

So I get up to give my lesson and I can't read the manual, the scriptures and writing on the board was interesting. Closer to the end of my lesson my vision cleared but then the pain started to come.So I'm thrown a little off my game and I don't think the lesson went all that well but I did my best. Luckily I have had 3 years of practice hiding that I am in pain. I hate anyone knowing I hurt unless it is my husband or my side of immediate family. So by the time I got in my car and drove away the tears where coming.
Sean is at work but luckily my Mom and sister Kayla were nice enough to take Keilei for me so I could take some pills and go to bed, or at least try. I am not looking forward to what it will be like with Keilei & a new born when I get a headache and Sean isn't here. But then again that is one of the reasons we moved to Utah so that my family could help me in times like that. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for giving me that blessing! I could not do it on my own.

Pumpkin Time

For FHE tonight we went to pick out some pumpkins to put on our porch since I am not decorating this year. Can I just say how much I love fall pictures!!! I love the pumpkins, hay bales, dry corn fields, colored leaves, and hay fields before they are cut. They all make the prettiest picture and are just nice to look at.

Anyway we had a good time and Keilei liked it even though almost all of them where to heavy for her to carry, she still tried.

Sean & Keilei picking out pumpkins, and petting the dog that was there

These are just some cute pictures of us picking pumpkins

Keilei's little pumpkin she picked out! Isn't she so cute!!!

Our porch with or new pumpkins. They big one we got to carve for next weeks FHE. And the little ones on the right are Keilei's. We are going to try and let her paint some.
